another interesting Trail laid by 'wethole'

Coastweek - - Last Saturday's Hash run saw another interesting Trail laid by  "wethole", ably assisted by "kamasutra", in Bamuri, Kiembeni.

In attendance was the Grandmaster R'Hole back home on holiday from BanglaDesh, sans the Hash Dog BOB, whose conspicuous absence raised everyone's tail.

But Bob is sick and in hospital.

A short prayer was said for his quick recovery and a promise to send flowers, if the Vet promised not to pinch them for his home/ wife/ girlfriend.

Trail started at the famous watering hole "Turkey Bayse", and the hashers traversed the Vikwatani village to emerge on the  Mishomoroni/ Mwakirunge road for the first dry 'Hold'.

Hereafter, the trail followed the road, or what appeared to be, for a while before turning right into the Husseini Dairy farm.

The FRBs as usual lost the trail and bypassed the beautiful second 'Hold', with birders watching the myriad bird species, and created their own Hold, at a dam.

The pack was treated to bottled Mnazi by Rolf "Quicky" instead of the usual freshly tapped variety.

Thank God, Mnazi is no longer illicit !

From here the trail wound up the motocross track, and splitting the Pack into two, one taking the long that followed the road - while the pregnant runners took the short through the quarry.

As the old saying goes," shortest way home is not always the quickest", the pregnant runners had to run on their fours to arrive back, having had to tackle the mushy quarry floor, with streams still running after the rains !

'Punishments' were administered to all 'sinners' of the Circle. All in all - a good run, thanks to the Hares.
