HASHERS ENJOY LONG SHANZU RUN

HASH REPORT - RUN No. 156

Coastweek - - The Hare was Wethole, the venue was Shanzu.

As the pack prepared to set off, outside Pistachio, they were treated to the spectacle of Sylvia passing in her nice car, then she passed again in the opposite direction, well, OK, it is a nice car; but then she appeared for a third time, and a fourth !

Problem, she could not find a long enough space in which to park.

I am not about to lower myself by making cheap remarks about woman drivers ...

Anyway, the trail led off in the Serena direction and into the rocky coral strewn area towards the creek.

The sun was beating down, it was a day for taking it easy but returnees Simba and Masai streaked off into the distance like headless chickens, never to be seen again.

In doing so, they missed a nice seaside hold that the hare had set up.

Others to disappear were Quickie and R'Hole, who met a couple of their tribesmen and spent too long shooting the breeze.

Lost and homeless, they took a strategic route back to base (definitely not a short cut).

A happy circle was held at a busy Safari Inn.

There were many sinners, including Kama Sutra and Wethole, for finger wagging at the GM.

Even the goody goody non-sinners received down downs, for being too good and not showing initiative !

This Week's Run No 157 - Saturday February 18th - is a special one, featuring a delegation of Hash VIP visitors from Ulaya.

Attendance is mandatory and remember - Don't Point the Finger !

Venue - Kaya Kinondo - South Coast. 4.00 p.m. Run Start

Meet at Nakumatt Likoni at 2.30 p.m. for on convoy to Ukunda area.
