MAMBA HASH TRAIL SET 'FAR
FROM THE MADDING CROWD"

give the Pack their sweat's worth and
the gaping mwananchi their brain's worth

Coastweek - - Having been hibernating for a couple of weeks the Hare is still Hashed and is still unsure about the current run number, but will gladly settle for anything over 180 in the true Hash amnesia rules if not contested; most lawyers busy either suing or defending a medley of big shots and small fry.

The Hash last Saturday was set on a 'far from the madding crowd" trail set by Wethole starting from the Mamba Village.

After doing a round of the sunny, sandy fringes of Nyali north and taking the many beach going gangs by surprise, the hare with the chalk bottle decided to make three checks and two check- backs from the sea  to give the Pack their sweat's worth and the gaping mwananchi their brain's worth.

Eric "Blackmeat" took his Mombasa time to arrive late after the leaders had left.

Not deterred, with now Stranger Steve in tow, he quickly sniffed the right trail and hit on it, overtaking the hare and her herring Kamasutra ambling along the flooded beach soaking their Hashed nethers with salty surf, spray and everything that the ocean offered with love.

The only Hold at the scenic beach resort was taken full advantage of for the obligatory Hash duty of downing a liquid 'down-down' and cooling off the flanks.

Next Hash run: contact Trevor Fellows on 0723 897970.
